Was the big guy in the wheel chair in Chicago. Love your life story. I'm sure your son is a strapping young man now. Great passion in your voice. A true singer sings with their hearts as much as they do through their vocal cords, and you my dear sing from your heart.
God Bless, and much success.

Hey Penny,
Just catching up with your site and trying to see where I might catch a performance. You seem to be flying, learning and writing but are you performing anywhere these days in the Phoenix valley? Will keep touching base with your site in hopes to catch your performance sometime soon. Remember Raimondo from the Farmer's Market? He is the one that initially told me about you. I am performing at his place these days every Friday
evening. Old statndards, Lounge Lizard/Jazz (& Motown) with just a touch of Country stuff !!

Real nice meeting you last night on the flight from HOU to PHX.
The list of songs I gave you are pretty good to the venues you are playing. The Frog Kissin' version by Chet Atkins is the only really good one - it's tough to find, I believe it's on an album called "Chet & Friends".
You have a great voice - and a very nice way about you, never give up - follow your dreams and heart - keep your eye on the prize - and it won't let you down.
All the best, Tom Lewis

Hi Penny! great to see you still singing. I've seen you many, many times over the years when you were at Legends in Nashville. I go there 4-5 times each year and think about how good you were every time I step in the door. Dear Penny,
It was really great meeting you and hearing you play at the AZ Music Café. You sounded and looked like a million bucks! And what a smile you have.
Very nice meeting Shawna as well. It was also an added bonus hearing/seeing Mary Hoffman & Darin Mahoney as well and to learn that you and Darin go way back.
What a small world. I am sorry I couldn’t stay to hear you set after your on air performance but I hope to get the Heart & Soul tonight to hear a full set.
You are a real pro and I have no doubt you will bend ears and turn heads where ever you go. Best of luck.

Wow, a european tour in our future.....I'm gonna start packing now. I think that skiing is gonna be great as soon as they can get the road cleaned up enough to open. I keep checking for the podcast of your appearance on Eric's show to post on the Arizona Music Cafe website. www.azmusiccafe.com. I'm sure it will be up soon. It's a beautiful "Arizona morning..right here underneath the clear blue skies".

Hey Shawna, Wow... I heard ya'll have about 5 to 6 feet of snow. I've seen it like that once up there in Show Low.. How Cool. Soon as I get to AZ, I'll be fixin' to go skiing! I heard that Sunrise was closed. Too much snow! Good news on the C.D.'s! I'm headed to Denver tomorrow, so hopefully I can sell a bunch on the road. I didn't make it to the writer's show. Did meet with a bunch of folks. Productive week, and I made soup. Roasted garlic cauliflower soup and Brown Rice & Asparagus Soup. How's that!! Good thing we own our own shovel's and washer & dryers, and it's a good thing I've got a gun! P.S. Checked out the website traffic, and I've been getting hits from Italy, Netherlands and Japan. The most hits from Italy. Guess we'll have to go!

Hey Girl: How are things going at home in Nashville? Did you make it out to Debbie's writers show? I think you were meeting with your producer, Alan O'Bryant, yesterday or today? I sold a few CD's this week, well I took the cash...the CD sells itself....I'm hearing great feedback about it....I miss you, come back to Arizona soon. The snow has not stopped here...a little cabin fever has set in at our house, but we are keeping the fire stoked, and a pot of beans on the stove....I opened the back door this evening and there was a shovel sitting there against the porch rail....so I made myself useful and shoveled the path from the house to the barn....I think I can skip the gym today.....good thing we are such hardworkers all this clothes folding and shoveling can wear a girl out......"it's a good thing I ain't got a gun"

Wow. What color is his fisher price tape player. It's so amazing to hear what songs the kids like. Kylie's favorite song is L.A. International Airport. She say's she likes the way the banjo starts off the song. I told her that when I was her age (8), L.A. International Airport was my favorite song too.
